Magnetic Echo is an audio effect app and AUv3 extension designed to process audio with tape-style echo, feedback, modulation, spring reverb, tone shaping, and related sound controls. The app is designed to work without collecting personal data.
Magnetic Echo does not collect, store, sell, rent, or share personal information.
When Magnetic Echo is used as an AUv3 extension, it receives audio supplied by a compatible host app solely to apply the selected audio effect.
Audio processing takes place locally on your device. Audio may be held temporarily in memory as part of the real-time tape echo and delay effect. Magnetic Echo does not create or retain recordings of this audio, and it does not upload, transmit, or share the processed audio.
Magnetic Echo does not request direct access to your microphone.
If you use microphone or live audio input through a compatible host app, that access is requested and controlled by the host app and the operating system. Magnetic Echo only processes the audio signal supplied to its AUv3 extension.
Magnetic Echo includes effect parameters and presets. A compatible host app may save the selected parameters or preset as part of its own project or preset data.
This information contains effect settings rather than personal information. Magnetic Echo does not transmit these settings to the developer or to external servers. Storage and management of a host app’s projects are governed by that host app’s own practices and privacy policy.
Magnetic Echo uses only the system capabilities needed for local audio processing, playback, and operation as an AUv3 audio effect. These capabilities are not used to collect personal information.
Magnetic Echo does not require an internet connection for its core functionality. The app does not send audio, effect settings, or personal data to external servers.
Magnetic Echo does not use analytics services, advertising SDKs, tracking technologies, or third-party data-collection services.
Because Magnetic Echo does not collect personal data, it does not share personal data with third parties.
Magnetic Echo may be used inside compatible third-party AUv3 host apps. Those apps operate independently and may have their own data practices. This Privacy Policy applies only to Magnetic Echo.
Magnetic Echo does not knowingly collect personal information from children or from any other users.
